Shipping policy

Here at Kraken RC; we are thrilled that you have chosen to trust us with your business. We process orders and fulfill as fast as possible. We will be transparent at all times with the order fulfillment process and will provide a tracking number as soon as the order is completed. You can then follow the progress on your order once it is in the hands of the courier.

We have a variety of shipping options to select for domestic and international shipping. This keeps shipping costs low and efficiency high. Standard shipping within the domestic United States will ship with a variety of carriers with a balance of cost and service speed provided. Expedited shipping methods are available with an added cost. Shipping times are always an estimate as USPS does not offer a guaranteed transit time and promised date of delivery. In our experience we see about one out of every hundred packages that seem to take a "scenic route" on the way to being delivered to you. This usually happens if a parcel is misrouted and sometimes will show tracking in a region or area on the wrong side of the country. The postal system will work and get you the parcel. We do not consider a package lost until it has been 30 days since it has shipped.

Some items may ship from our international location in the UK. This method will always ship via express and have delivery within a few days. When ordering car kits through our website if your car ships by fulfillment from the UK into the domestic United States the cars are sent with taxes and duties prepaid.

International shipping costs do not include any duties or taxes. Duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer and are due upon delivery. There may be some shipping restrictions on certain items to your country. Our shipping rates are based on weight and we do our best to show the correct shipping costs. In some cases it may require that we contact you for additional shipping costs. Any extra costs for shipping will be cleared with the customer prior to shipping. Note that as a corporation we are unable to mark anything as a "GIFT" on duties forms.

Orders will be fulfilled and processed as received on normal business days. We are closed weekends and major holidays.

Delays and back stock - Our website shows live inventory; meaning that if it shows in stock and available then we have it ready to ship. In the unlikely event that we have a shortage of product for your order a member of our team will contact you as soon as possible to find a resolution for your order.

Undelivered or returned orders - Thank you for choosing our company to do business with! We will ship to the address provided so it is critical that the correct shipping information is provided. This means a recipient name, street number and name, apartment number if applicable, city, zip, and state information. If a package is returned we will submit a refund inline with our Refund Policy. The customer can also have the order reshipped if they choose and pay the shipping cost as needed.
